The Printing & Graphic Communications Program provides students with an overview of the offset printing/ graphics industry and prepares them for PrintED® Certification in Introduction to Graphic Communications and Digital File Preparation. Students will explore the scope and relevance of the printing/graphics industry, demonstrate knowledge of the print production process, demonstrate knowledge of digital imaging and digital workflow, learn appropriate uses of Adobe CS6 software titles – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, use industry related math and vocabulary, and produce a variety of small-format printed materials.
